Hey Reader, I recorded a conversation this week that I need to share with you. It's with Dane Barber. He's 57 years old, he joined the community a little under five months ago, and on Monday he starts a new role that pays him more than double the most he has ever earned in his career. Before he joined, Dane was a software engineer. Then his company decided to go all-in on AI and let go 90% of the staff, including him. He spent months looking for work. Nothing landed. And that was on top of a $27,000 coding bootcamp he had already paid for years earlier, a bootcamp he had to redo because the first round taught him almost nothing. Five months after joining the community, here is where he is:
The part that hit me was when he said the first week he spent inside the community taught him more than the entire 20 weeks of his $27,000 bootcamp. I recorded the full conversation where Dane explains what shifted this time, what he actually did differently, and the system he picked up that he believes will keep working long after this first contract ends. Click here to watch the conversation. See you next week, Mischa P.S. Dane was 57, laid off, two failed bootcamps behind him, and moving across the country. Five months later he starts at a Fortune 50 company on more than double his old salary. He did all of it inside KubeCraft. We have a few spots open. Click here to apply. |
