Weekly DevOps career tips and technical deep dives. My mission is to help you land your next DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE role, even if you are brand new. I went from nurse to DevOps and I can help you do the same.

Hey Reader, Every year it's the same in this industry: hiring winds down as people prepare for the holidays. Then in January, new budgets get approved, and hiring picks up again in a very specific window. That window starts in January, and that's less than 60 days from now. Now be honest with yourself:
If you gave me 60 days to get you ready for the January Hiring Wave, here's exactly what I'd have you do. Assuming you already have the Linux and Kubernetes fundamentals down: Days 1 to 20: Foundations + Homelab
Days 21 to 40: Projects + Proof
Days 41 to 60: Visibility + Interviews
Do that, and you walk into the January Hiring Wave with an actual shot at landing a job. If you don't, you'll be like everyone else sending hundreds of applications and wondering why they're getting rejected. That's why I'm running the KubeCraft Winter Sprint: 60 Days to an Offer Letter.
This is your chance to join a highly motivated group of people grinding toward the same job as you. When I changed my career from nurse to DevOps, I was always grinding alone and I didn't have anyone to ask when I got stuck. That can end today: you can have a group of people around you doing the same thing, and an expert senior mentor who is there to answer your questions every single day. The Winter Sprint kickoff is Friday, November 6. To start with the group on day one, you need to book your call and get onboarded before then. If you want to be part of the group: I look forward to helping you, 🫡 Mischa P.S.: There are two versions of you. Version 1 does what everybody else does: takes a break over the holidays and fantasizes about a DevOps job "one day." Version 2 joins a focused group with the same goal and walks into January with an offer letter in hand. Click here if you want to be Version 2. |
